If your PIN still works but you want to change it anyway, go to Start > Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options and under PIN, select Change.
Having a PIN on your device makes things easier—like unlocking, or signing in to your favorite apps. We think you'll like it.

If you use your PIN to access games, social networking, or financial institutions, you'll need to sign-in to each of those places after you reset your PIN. This isn't a move you'll want to take lightly if you use your PIN in several places.
If you reset your PIN, apps might require you to sign in again, and any data that's managed by an organization could be lost.
